Ben, Janet, Lauren, Sydney and Jack

We've been on staff with Cru for 33 years. We met and fell in love in Seattle while helping college students put Christ first in their lives. For 15 years Janet served in various leadership roles and Ben started gradGUIDES.

Since 2002 we've been helping couples build close-knit, godly families. We speak on marriage at FamilyLife's Weekend to Remember getaways and on parenting in local churches and family camps. Ben also trains pastors in marriage and family ministry as an adjunct professor at Western Seminary. Janet is a Bible teacher and small group leader at ONE, a local women's community Bible study.

We live in Wilsonville, Oregon, and have three of the nicest, smartest and most beautiful children you’ll ever meet.
